Nearly 50 alumni joined 350 resident members and their guests at this year’s Vincent’s Summer Garden Party, held at Iffley Road last Saturday. Special thanks again go to Tim Stevens and all at Iffley Road for hosting what was a most memorable occasion to celebrate our 160th anniversary.
Weather once again was Oxford’s summer best, with a brief downpour that helped offset the 30 degree temperature, and having spent several decades working our way around Oxford’s colleges it was an honour to be hosted at one of the homes of Oxford sport.
This year’s event was sponsored by prestige British brand, Gunner Cocktails, (www.originalgunner.com) offering their Saints and Sinners alongside our own Pinky. Special thanks too to Gunner’s owner, Giles Fuchs, managing director Dannie McDonald and brand director Ed Hoskins.
The Cocktail Committee, supported by Team Andy catering and the legendary Vincent’s Bar Team, worked extremely hard to make the event a great success. And it was: great company from across the world of Oxford sport, wonderful atmosphere, fine weather and the rugby posts remained unscaled!
